About me
Brenda Siegel is the Executive Director of End Homelessness Vermont, where she leads a lived experience driven approach to ending homelessness in the state. She is also a consultant on human services systems and policy, specializing in homelessness and housing, drug policy, and disability rights, with deep expertise in evaluating and changing the systems that shape those issues. Brenda's advocacy work spans the state and the country. Brenda Siegel is well known for fighting for change that seems impossible and getting it done. She led the effort to secure End Homelessness Vermont's first ever state General Fund appropriation, part of Vermont's FY2027 budget, a major win for homelessness and housing policy in the state. She played a key role in passing Vermont's Homelessness Response Continuum bill (H.938), which strengthened ADA and Section 504 compliance protections and expanded disability rights protections for people experiencing homelessness.
