Conor Casey is a Vermont State Representative, public affairs professional, nonprofit executive, and award-winning playwright. Since 2023, he has represented Montpelier in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving on the House Committee on Corrections and Institutions and the Judicial Retention Committee.Over the course of his career, Conor has held leadership roles in advocacy, labor, politics, and nonprofit organizations, including the Vermont Democratic Party, the Vermont State Employees' Association, and statewide public policy organizations. His work has centered on public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, coalition building, and legislative advocacy.As a playwright, Conor's work has been produced across the United States. His plays include Founding F%!#ers, The Three Husbands of Sarah Tilbury, Under the World Tree, Widows Unite!, and A Step Too Far. His work often blends comedy, history, and politics to explore contemporary social issues.A dual Irish-American citizen, Conor holds a B.A. from Emerson College and an M.A. in Film and Television Studies from Dublin City University.
